Oakwood Boys Clinch CPIC Title With OT Win Over Greenfield

The Oakwood Eagles won their first game ever against the #1 ranked Greenfield Knights in Saturday's CPIC Championship Game.

Oakwood tied the game near the end of regulation to send it to overtime. Senior Jerome Simmons scored the game winning basket to give the Eagles a 62-60 win over Greenfield. The tournament was played at Faith Christian in Rocky Mount.

Greenfield is ranked #1 in the NCISSA Division 1. Oakwood is now 19-5.
