Kinston Clinches State Championship

The Kinston High School boys basketball team is the new class 2A state champion.

The Vikings topped Cuthbertson High School 58-55 Saturday at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh.

Kinston captured its 8th state championship in school history.

    What else would you expect? When you have about 90 % of a high school being black and they all apend 90 % of their time trying to be as good as Jerry Stackhouse was, then it's obvious they should win a few state championships. Question is how many of them will have the grades to make it to a legitimate college basketball program.

      what a stupid question...it is based on the population of the school. are you suggesting they dont know how many students they have enrolled?
