You guys are going to be in for news when the playoff brackets come out in a few weeks. Riverside and Plymouth will not be playing in the same bracket. They will be playing for two different state titles. They are both Class 1A schools and play in the same conference. Nobody every said they do not. The state for Football playoffs the last four or five years has gone to 8 state champions. There will be a 1A,, a 1AA, a 2a, a 2AA, a 3A, a 3AA, a 4a and a 4AA. The A is for the samer schools in that class and the AA for the larger schools in that class. Good luck to both teams and programs but they will not be in the same playoff. If you do not understand this than your comments about knowing high school football are in trouble.

Riverside has more students than Plymouth High school since the schools combined, so your saying Williamston is 1AA and Plymouth is 1A. Where do you get your facts from? So your saying Williamston is in a conference all by itself? I hate to tell you Riverside will be in the playoff bracket with Plymouth, and all the other 1A teams. So sorry to rain on your parade.

Maybe you need to check your knowledge..Plymouth and Williamston play in the same playoff bracket. If there was a 1AA don't you think Creswell with 127 students would be in a different bracket? No I hate to tell you they are in the same 1A. There is no 1AA anymore. Go to Maxpreps.com and you'll find out what you need to know. This changed a long time ago. Thanks

The state divides the schools up according to enrollment. The Class 1A schools are divided into large 1A schools ( called 1AA) and smaller 1A Schools (called 1A). There are now 8 state champions in the state of NC for the last four to five years. Plymouth will be in the 1A playoffs while Riverside will be 1AA. If you did not know this you may not want to question what someone else knows about hs fb.

I really don't understand what Fear the Knight is talking about. Plymouth is not an illegal team. And what is 1AA champs? Plymouth and Williamston are really good teams and both will probably go far in the playoffs. Plymouth is a really good team with alot of talent, anyone who has seen them play can tell you that. I am so sick of the accusations about Plymouth. I don't think Fear the Knight even knows anything about high school football..

Hey DC, why don't you just shut your mouth up with the rest of you racist Deadskins from Manteo. You are the LOSER. You are the immature punk with nothing more than a fat mouth. To Riverside players, that was a tough ball game and it sure looks like Plymouth has a tremendous chance of winning the state championship this year. DC is just another acronym for Dumb Cornball. GO KNIGHTS
