hey Deal you know those players are the best. don't you remember all those players committed to D-I schools? oh thats right it is all those kids from the big schools that go D-I. and here i thought they wanted the "BEST" players in the state. since all these players are the "BEST" i bet they can hardly sit down with all the recruiters hounding them. man wish I was the "BEST".

I agree with scooter, and as far as the deal guy.creswell can and has competed with teams from schools with 6 times as many student.Pick your best 11 players and let them play both ways, then we will see who wins.....

to my friend in the OBX.. well said. You are right. These people would hand pick a win from this season or that season when 90% of the time they lose to the "bigger" schools. Reality escapes many people's logic because they want their kids to feel good. Let's give everybody a trophy and say we are all champions!!

Yes, it will be a good match up between Riverside and Southside on Friday night. Let's pray for both teams to come out of it with no injuries and a continued respect for each other on and off the field. GO KNIGHTS!!!

Congrats hawks on another W friday night. Let me say this, South creek has nothing to ashamed of even though they are 0-8 it doesnt show. Those young men come at you evry play, they dont give up. And finally to boogy Man ans other riverside posters, friday night is gonna be more of a 4-rivers second place match up between your knights and my hawks. Hopefully we can all respect the young men that leave it all on the field every friday night. Go hawks.

Hey WITN, where is the coverage of the high school Volleyball tournament games from this weekend??????
  • by Knights Mom Location: Knights Country on Oct 23, 2010 at 06:54 PM
Congrats to the 4 Rivers Conference teams on their wins last night. All of the athletes put their hearts into each and every game. There has to be a winner and a loser. Plymouth does have a good team. They work together each and every play. They are proving it each and every game. They will be hard to beat in the play-offs. Congrats to the Riverside Knights on their win last night! You kept your head in the game, played with every ounce of energy and heart, and you didn't give up! Your determination and dedication payed off and your fans are proud! WAY TO GO KNIGHTS!!!!!

well said cb.these are 15-18 year old kids let them have their moment

@the deal. You talk about numbers but once again you reflect upon the probability that there is superior talent on a field. I wonder if the same logic you use then also applied when 3A West Craven and Havelock beat 4A New Bern years ago. Again...nothing to do with numbers..everything to do with talent on the field. We can talk all day about "what ifs" but the fact of the matter is 1A Plymouth is succesful in their class as is New Bern in theirs. Don't try and steal someone else's joy!!!
