Newest Class Of 2010 Graduates

It was all smiles and hugs at J. H. Rose High School in Greenville Thursday morning as 37 seniors from Pitt County officially graduated high school and received their diplomas.

The students, who came from all five of the county's high schools, were all one credit shy of graduating in June when the school year ended. But thanks to their hard work and an intensive summer school program, they all completed the last course requirements and became the newest members of the class of 2010.

Many of the new graduates say they plan to begin their college careers in the fall.
