Havelock's Webster Verbally Commits To The Pirates

One of the most exciting players in the East on Fridays, will now be playing for the East on Saturdays. Havelock's Daniel Webster Jr. says he is verbally committed to playing football for the Pirates next year.

Webster, a senior highlight machine from Havelock high says once the new coaching staff was in place they expressed interest in him. Webster played Quaterback and Defensive back for the Rams says he'll be playing reciever for the Pirates.

Other division-1 schools, including North and South Carolina were interested in Webster, but according to Daniel, the exciting up tempo offense and being close to home made ECU a great fit. Of course a call from New England Patriot receiver Wes Welker talking about how good a fit it was for him didn't hurt either.

John: ¡Touché! Matt Cassell never played a game for USC and started for NE when Brady was hurt and he started for KC last year. I am NOT a Calamity Jock(CJ) fan but he's an exceptional gifted athlete and RB. He has a long way to catch-up with Orenthal James Simpson!
