I've talked to a lot kids who have come out this past week to work with Coach Paschal. They love him already and say he's doing a great job. As for my family, we are looking forward to an exciting fall with Conley football.

Coach Paschal did a wonderful job at Roanoke. I am a graduate of Roanoke High School and I attended some of the football games home and away and he did a great job coaching those kids. I wish the basketball team at Roanoke girls and boys had a dedicated coach who actually knows how to coach. Good luck to coach Paschal and I know he will do a fine job at Conley.

Good luck to you Coach! I'm going to miss you. I know you will do a terrific job at Conley, just as you have at Roanoke. Hope our next coach will have as much dedication as you have had. God Bless!

Congrats to Coach Paschal, good luck to him and his staff. To all those who are upset over those who were NOT chosen, sometimes its better to pull from outside, it can allow for things to be viewed in a different light. I'm sure that the most overall qualified applicant was hired.

Conley should be glad to get a coach of the calibar of Coach Paschal. Conley's athletes deserve the best and it looks like someone worked hard to get it for them.

They are probably creating a teaching position for this new coach. So that means a teacher who is currently on staff will lose his/her job.

How many teachers are announced in a press conference when hired? Aren't you hired as teacher first, coach second?
