Greenville 15U All-Stars Dominate ENC State Tournament

Bear Creek, NC - Greenville's 15U All-Stars whipped Roanoke Valley, 13-1 Sunday to capture the Babe Ruth ENC State Tournament Championship Sunday.

Nixon Floyd sparked Greenville's attack with a first inning 2-run home run while Austin Chiang went the distance on the mound for the win.

Greenville dominated the tournament from the opening pitch outscoring their opponents 80-8 in the eight games they have played so far.

Will Tugwell earned Tournament MVP honors as Greenville has booked a ticket to the Southeast Regional Tournament in Lumberton.

Roanoke Valley defeated New Bern 11-4 in the loser bracket final earlier in the day.

    A great team effort. These boys worked so hard. We are excited to hit the road to Lumberton for future success. I know all these boys will continue to work hard and succeed.

    These boys worked their tails off as a team. They really deserve to be going to the regionals. Everyone contributed to the team efforts. I want to thank the coaches,the other parents, and players for making this such a great experience. It's so nice for some good fun news for a change.
