Coach Boyd is doing great a job with what he has. The athletes cannot stay eligible. Why don't we ask the teachers and the principal about that instead of blaming the coach. Last year, there were NINE players ineligible to play football. He has at least 4 ineligible players this year. Let's try and figure how to help these kids stay eligible and stop blaming the adults. These young men need to take responsibility for their own actions and develop some character.

Coach Boyd is a great coach. Northeast and Bath (Bath wins sometimes) wins because they do not play anybody. Let them line up and play against Washington Union, Williamston Middle, Pamlico Middle, etc. Northeast plays Cape Hatteras, Mattamuskeet teams that cannot win unless they play against each other ath the varsity level. Coach Boyd uses his personal truck to pick up and take kids home each night. He fixes food for the players. He really cares for his players and all of these attacks are without merit. I agree with another post about there just not being enough athletes there right now. The school is dropping in enrollment because of the economy and we are going to attack this man. If any of you REALLY know football, I am sure he would be glad to have you as an assistant.

I ran out of space in the last message but just so you know that you still don't know what you are talking about I am not related to coach Jones and neither is the defensive coordinator. We are just both people who are interested in supporting this team and program instead of coming on message boards and anonymously bashing high school kids and their coaches. Think about what you are doing man...

The Coach, I checked & u were right about those players being moved, but it was because of INJURY & SUSPENSION! U must just be looking for things to complain about, b/c u just mentioned 2 o-line starters who are injured & another who is suspended & u still can't understand why those players were moved? Really? In that case I would really love to continue this battle of wits with u, but it's pretty clear that you're unarmed. Both of the moved players were not going to see the field at WR b/c they lack the talent to play there. Now they get to play, & u seem to be the only one who is upset that those kids are now getting playing time. This is the last thing I will say - I really hope u are not a parent or adult family member of a S. Creek player. If you're a kid or something ok, but if you're an adult u are a pathetic example to these kids of how to support a team and a program. Sad that 6 games into a rebuilding season you feel the need to come on here and bash hs kids and their coach.

since you are there every day i'm sure coach jones would love to hear your brilliant ideas. throw more with a bad qb. since you know so much who else is there to even play on the line?

if you are at all of the practices and games maybe you should man up and make the suggesttion to coach jones yourself instead of griping on a message board. childish parent most likely who wants to blame a coach rather than push their kid to do more. either that or a kid who needs to keep his mouth shut.

The coach, I almost didn't respond to your last post b/c it is so terribly incorrect. Just so you know, I've been to half of S. Creek's practices since fall camp & to all but 1 game this season. I know all the coaches & players personally, so I think I know what I'm talking about when talking about this team... First, you say S. Creek should go to the run & shoot and then you turn around and say their QB sucks? That makes perfect since to me. You say coach has moved 2 wr's to offensive guard? Wrong again! The O-Line is currently & has been since the beginning of the season #56 - 6'1 263, #52 - 5'10 265, #64 - 5'11 250, #77 - 6'0 285, & #74 - 5'9 245. #50 - 6'2 228 is their best lineman who is suspended. Any of those guys look like former wr's to you? The only thing you have right is that they have a lot of WR's but only a couple of them are good players. There best athletes are #6 a QB, #1 a RB, #3 a FB, #9 a RB, and #12 a RB. With those players you tell me what offense they should run!

to 2-d u know your facts 4th and 23 u run a draw we lose 10 yards qb sucks but u play him until 4th quarter in the last two games, when you get behind 42 to 0 then you replace him after 4 or 5 turnovers, also throw a pass down the field not behind the line, qb has 10 completions for 15 yards thats real smart,a team with 15 wide recievers my fault 13 he moved 2 to offensive guard thats real smart, like i said fire coach jones and his dumb d-coordinator probably his brother in law or cousin

To Pretty Funny, I saw your comment about Northside only winning at Cross country. I also thought that Northside had one of the BEST 1-A boys basketball programs at least in the east if not the state.
