Plymouth -- The Plymouth Vikings improved to 5-0 on the season with a 47-0 win on Monday night over Northside.
The game was moved to Monday following the death of Plymouth High School principal Dr. May Wilkins last week.
The game was also the conference opener for both teams.
The Vikings, who are currently ranked #4 in the latest A.P. Class 1-A state poll, jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and led 29-0 at halftime. Plymouth stayed on the ground most of the night on a weather soaked Foster Field and racked up 424 yards of total offense.
Plymouth will host South Creek Friday night while Northside will host Perquimans.
