I wonder if Cameron is going to break the pitching record. I think the fastest pitch thrown in a Little League World Series is 81mph. Some kid from Georgia threw it last year. in the state tournament, Cam threw consistantly 77-78 every fast ball. Wouldn't that be something? I bet if he threw as hard as he could, he might break the record.

I have taken some time and read alot of comments made about southern pitt and greenville. Well i am a proud mom of one of the players that plays with southern pitt and they deserve to be where they are at!! You have so many talented guys playing on both sides and everyone should be proud of all the effort these boys put into playing ball instead of talking about who is better. Southern Pitt 12 yr olds is a great ball team, be proud of what they have acheived and cheer them on as they travel to Calofornia!!! Great job guys

Congrats to the players, coaches, parents, and supporters!!! Does anyone know if the games will be televised, and if so, on what channel and times? I would love to see the Carolina players show their talent and pride in what they do!!

So why is it now that you have 2 or 3 different baseball leagues for 12 year olds these days? Back when I played baseball as a 12 year old, little league was the only baseball league around. Regardless congrats to all the Pitt County teams. Greenville and surrounding Pitt County have always been rich in baseball talent at all age groups as long as I can remember.
