PCC Sweeps Thomas Nelson CC; Eason Shaves Head For Charity

Pitt Community College head baseball coach Tommy Eason made a statement Saturday after his Bulldogs swept Thomas Nelson Community College 10-0 and 24-9.

Eason had his head shaved by Bulldog catcher Jake May who is battling cancer. Eason agreed to the hair cut if PCC could raise $250 after Saturday's second game. The team raised $2,000 and the coach got his buzz.

The money raised is going towards Riley's Army which is a charity in Eastern North Carolina geared toward supporting children fighting cancer and their families.
