Morris, Blue Each Score TDs In UNC Spring Game

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -- A.J. Blue and Romar Morris each scored touchdowns to help Blue beat White 34-10 in North Carolina's spring game Saturday.

Blue and Morris are expected to lead the competition to replace Gio Bernard, who is heading to the NFL after scoring 19 total touchdowns last season. In addition, midyear enrollee Khris Francis ran for 101 yards for White, showing the Tar Heels should have plenty of depth in the backfield as they close spring drills.

Francis said he's focused on making sure he knows the playbook and keeping up his stamina in Larry Fedora's no-huddle offense.

Blue scored on a 33-yard screen pass and ran for 30 yards on eight carries. Morris scored the game's first touchdown on a 2-yard carry and finished with 80 yards on 15 carries.
