The New York Knicks have signed former N.C. State standout C.J. Leslie to a contract.
Leslie declared for the draft after his junior season with the Wolfpack. He averaged 13.7 points, on 49.7 percent shooting, 7.3 rebounds and 1.37 blocks in 99 games with N.C. State. As a junior, he averaged 15.1 points, on 51.9 percent shooting, and 7.4 rebounds and 1.23 blocks in 32.4 minutes in 35 games.
The Knicks also signed first-round draft pick Tim Hardaway Jr. to a contract.
Hardaway Jr. was the 24th selection in the draft and played at the University of Michigan where he averaged 14.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 107 games and helped lead the Wolverines to the NCAA championship game last season.
He is the son of five-time NBA All-Star Tim Hardaway Sr.
