Jacksonville's Crews Wins Coastal Plains Jr. Amateur

Reggie Crews shot a final round 66 in rainy conditions to capture the Coastal Plains Junior Amateur overall championship.

Crews had finished runner-up in last year's tournament after losing a playoff.

The Jacksonville-native had the low round of the tournament with his 6-under performance Tuesday. He had been 6 shots back after round one.

Parrott Academy product Riley Davis finished one shot back in second with a two day total of 140.

Former WITN Pepsi Player of the Week and two-time state champion Tara Simmons took the overall girls championship with a two day total of 143.
