Goldsboro's Jimmy Graham Signs Record Deal With Saints

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Jimmy Graham has worked out a multiyear contract with the New Orleans Saints. Graham and the Saints have agreed to a four-year, $40 million deal that includes $21 million guaranteed.

He skipped all of the team's voluntary and mandatory practices in a dispute with the team over what position he really played.

The club had tagged him as a tight end, while in a grievance the union said he was a receiver. To be tagged a receiver is worth about $5 million more a year than a tight end.

Graham was born and raised in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He played six months (13 games) of college football at the University of Miami.
