GREENVILLE, N.C. --- Former East Carolina standout Akeem Richmond will participate in a pre-draft workout for the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, June 11.

Richmond finished his career ranked seventh on the all-time NCAA three-point field goals made list with 416, playing his first two seasons at the University of Rhode Island before electing to transfer to ECU. Richmond scored 1,622 points during his four-year collegiate with 1,248 points coming from outside the arc. He netted 994 during his final two seasons at ECU
As a senior this past year, Richmond led all NCAA Division I players with 155 made 3-pointers, third-highest single-season total in NCAA history, averaging an NCAA-best 4.56 3s per game. He finished the season with an average of 18.0 points per game and was named Second Team All-Conference USA. He made 10 or more 3-pointers in a game three times, including an ECU, C-USA and C-USA tournament single-game record 11 3-pointers in the first round of the championship.
