Two Wake Forest players are among the six earning weekly honors from the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Cornerback Alphonso Smith is the defensive back of the week after his 100-yard interception return sparked a rally that led the Demon Deacons to their 31-24 overtime victory over Wake Forest.

Running back Josh Adams had 91 yards rushing and ran 6 yards for
the winning touchdown in overtime.

Also recognized for last weekend's play were Duke's Eron Riley, Clemson's Christian Capote, Virginia's Jeffrey Fitzgerald and North
Carolina State's Darrell Blackman.

Riley tied a Duke record with four touchdown in Navy's loss to Duke. Capote had 11 knockdown blocks as the Tigers rushed for 340 yards in beating N.C. State. Fitzgerald returned a deflected pass 25 yards for a score in Virginia's victory over Georgia Tech, and Blackman had a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown against the Tigers.
