The Southern California Trojans have retained the
top-spot in the weekly Associated Press Top 25 college football
poll. The Trojans secured their spot with a 49-31 win over
14th-ranked Nebraska Saturday night. USC landed 46 of the first
place votes compared to 19 for runner-up LSU. The Tigers are
3-and-0 on the season while the Trojans are 2-and-0.
Rounding out the top five are Florida, Oklahoma and West
