These are Patricia Dugas' first public comments since visiting
her son in the hospital where he underwent four hours of surgery
for a life-threatening spinal injury on Sunday.
Dugas, who left her home in Port Arthur, Texas, on Monday not
knowing whether the Bills reserve would ever walk again, says
"he's like a miracle."
Doctors had thought Everett would never walk again before he moved both his arms and legs on Tuesday.
