Vick Files Plea Agreement On Dogfighting Charges

NFL quarterback Michael Vick has filed his
plea agreement on dogfighting charges.
He's scheduled to formally enter the plea on Monday in federal
court in Richmond, Virginia. Today, he filed the agreement in which
he admits to conspiracy in a dogfighting ring, and helping to kill
pit bulls.
He denies ever betting on the fights, but admits bankrolling
them.
The summary says the Atlanta Falcons star didn't receive any of
the purse money from the fights.
It says he agrees that dogs died "as a result of the collective
efforts" of Vick and two of his co-defendants.
In all, three others have also entered guilty pleas in the case.
A government official has said prosecutors will recommend a
sentence of a year to 18 months in prison for Vick.
