Clemens and Torre Suspended For Beanball

New York - New York Yankees pitcher Roger Clemens has
received a five-game suspended from major league baseball for
hitting Toronto's Alex Rios with a pitch Tuesday.
The seven-time Cy Young Award winner drilled Rios in the middle
of the back during the bottom of the seventh, six innings after
Blue Jays pitcher Josh Towers hit Alex Rodriguez.
Yanks manager Joe Torre was hit with a one-game suspension due
to Clemens' toss.
Clemens, Rodriguez and Torre were fined along with Yankees
coaches Larry Bowa and Tony Pena, Toronto's Matt Stairs and Towers,
and Blue Jays coach Brian Butterfield.
