Rams Make Bulger Highest Paid Player in Franchise History

St. Louis - The St. Louis Rams have signed Marc Bulger to a six-year, 65 (m) million-dollar contract extension that makes the quarterback the highest-paid player in franchise history.
The deal includes 27 (m) million dollars in guaranteed money and
puts him in a group of six quarterbacks who make ten (m) million
dollars a year.
The two-time Pro Bowl selection was a no-show for yesterday's
mandatory team meeting and threatened to hold out if he didn't get
a new deal.
Bulger is in the final year of a four-year, 19 (m)
million-dollar contract. He had the best year of his career in 2006
throwing for 4-thousand-301 yards with 24 touchdowns and eight
interceptions. He completed 63 percent of his passes and ranked
fourth in N-F-L passing.
