North Carolina State tight end Anthony Hill will miss the upcoming season after undergoing reconstructive knee surgery.
During a diagnostic procedure Wednesday morning, an orthopedic surgeon discovered that Hill had a "damaged" anterior cruciate ligament that required reconstruction. N-C State would not confirm which knee was injured.
The senior was the Wolfpack's leading receiver last year and a second-team all-conference pick. The surgeon says Hill twisted his knee a few weeks ago, but officials didn't know the extent of the injury until the surgical procedure.
