Lancaster Leads John Deere Classic

Neal Lancaster shot seven-under 63 to grab a one-shot lead over Duffy Waldorf, Paul Stankowski, Kenny Perry, Scott Gutschewski and Jason Dufner.

Lancaster's lone P-G-A Tour victory was at the 1994 Byron Nelson
Classic, and he said he has not played well for six years. His highest finish in three tour events this year was 24th at the A-T-and-T Classic.

Masters champion Zach Johnson couldn't settle in at home, shooting a 1-under 70 and falling six strokes off the lead. Johnson, ranked 15th in the world, is the only top-45 player in this tournament.
