Heels Beat Bulldogs in College World Series

Omaha - North Carolina came from 4 runs down to beat Mississippi State Friday in their first round game of the College World Series 8-5. UNC is trying to avenge last year's loss in the championship game against Oregon State. UNC fell behind 4-0 in the 2nd inning before scoring the next 8 runs. Closer Andrew Carignan slammed the door on the Bulldogs in the 9th for his 16th save. UNC advances to face C-USA champ Rice in the winner's bracket game Sunday at 7pm. The game will be televised on ESPN.
