Greg Hudson Leaving ECU For FSU

Media outlets and websites based out of Tallahassee, Florida are reporting that ECU defensive coordinator Greg Hudson has signed a contract to become the new linebackers coach at Florida State University under new head coach Jimbo Fisher, However, WITN has learned that while Hudson has agreed in principle to become a Seminole, no contract has been signed.

Hudson is also expected to report to Memphis, Tennessee following the Christmas break to coach the Pirates in the upcoming Liberty Bowl against Arkansas.

Hudson's defense has been the top defense in Conference USA for each of the past four years in either yards given up or points allowed.

Florida State's defense was one of the worst in the nation this year and Hudson will be expected to turn that unit around quickly.
