Carolina comeback and completed a suspended-game 8-to-6 victory
over the Tar Heels.

Once it resumed, the Tar Heels picked up their latest comeback
attempt, pulling within two runs on pinch-hitter Kyle Seager's
run-scoring sacrifice fly.
Reliever Jeff Jeffords worked a perfect ninth for his sixth
save, handing North Carolina (52-13) its first N-C-A-A tournament
loss at Boshamer Stadium since 1983.
