Charlotte - Kurt Busch is paying a big price for what
NASCAR officials say was some reckless driving during Monday's
Nextel Cup race at Dover. Roger Penske's team member
has been fined 100-thousand dollars and docked 100 driver points
and Penske has been penalized 100 owner points because of Busch's
Busch and Tony Stewart were both running in the top ten when
Busch clipped Stewart as he went to make a pass. Busch nosed into
the wall and Stewart was sent hard into the SAFER barrier on the
outside retaining wall.
While Stewart's team was checking out the damage in the pit
stall, Busch pulled next to Stewart's car, forcing the jackman to
jump back and onto the hood.
