Wright and Flores Remain Tied in Touchstone Open

Greenville, NC (May 26, 2007)…Aaron Wright (Orlando, FL) and Martin Flores (Mansfield, TX) share the clubhouse lead after Saturday’s third round of The Touchstone Energy Open over the 6821 yard, par 72 Brook Valley Country Club at twelve-under par 204.

Wright, a Naval Academy graduate that joined the Marine Corps after college instead of turning pro, carded a two-under par 70, while Flores closed ground with a four-under par 68.

The pair holds a slim one stroke lead over Irishman Chris Devlin. Devlin fired a three-under par 69 Saturday.

Former Furman Paladin Matt Davidson (Chapel Hill) heads up the North Carolina contingent in The Touchstone Energy Open after carding a three day total of six-under par 210, while former Tar Heel Ramon Bescansa (Santiago, Spain) is in the house at even par 216.

Round Four will begin at 8:00 Sunday morning with the leaders going off number one at 9:40.

The total purse for The Touchstone Energy Open is $200,000 with $33,566 going to the winner.
