DURHAM, N.C. (AP) -- Duke and Wake Forest meet Saturday in the season finale for both teams, though the Blue Devils seem to have a little more to play for.
Duke (5-6, 3-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) fell out of bowl consideration after last week's loss at Miami, but the Blue Devils still have a chance to finish at .500. That would be a significant achievement for a program that hasn't won more than four games since its last bowl season 15 years ago.
Wake Forest (4-7, 2-5) has been to bowls for three straight seasons, but fell back this year.
It will be the final games for Wake Forest quarterback Riley Skinner and Duke quarterback Thad Lewis, a pair of four-year starters who made their first college starts against each other in 2006.
