Florida Wins Another Title

Superior outside shooting and Al Horford's presence inside led Florida to an 84-to-75 win over Ohio State in college basketball's national championship game.

The Gators are the first team to repeat as national champs since Duke in 1991-92. They did it with the same starting five.

Horford had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Gators and Taurean
Green added 16 points.

The Gators sank six of their ten three-pointers in the first half with Lee Humphrey draining four from behind the arc. He finished with 14 points.

Joakim Noah added eight points and three rebounds. Ohio State lost despite Greg Oden's best game in the tournament. The freshman center stayed out of foul trouble and finished with 25 points and 12 rebounds.

Florida completes a championship sweep in the university's two
biggest sports -- men's hoops and football. The Gators routed the
Buckeyes 41-to-14 in the B-C-S title game on January eighth in
Glendale, Arizona.

Florida remains the only program in history to hold both championships at the same time.
