Cleveland - North Carolina had Tennessee on the ropes in the women's Final Four Sunday night but let them off the hook in their 56-50 loss. The Tar Heels used a 17-2 run to take a 10 point lead late in the second half but then fell apart much like their male counterparts did against Georgetown in the men's final 8. UNC didn't score a basket over the last 8 minutes of the second half, watching Tennessee end the game on a 20-2 run. Ivory Latta missed a chance to tie the game with 30 seconds to play when her three point attempt clanged off the back iron. Tennessee will play Rutgers for the National Title Tuesday night.
