Canes Not Done Yet

Miami, FL - The Carolina Hurricanes pulled out a 4-to-3
win at Florida on Ray Whitney's power-play goal 90 seconds into
overtime.
Whitney capped a comeback that allowed the Hurricanes to get
within four points of eighth-place Montreal in the Eastern
Conference.
The Panthers led 3-to-1 midway through the third period before
Rod Brind'Amour and Chad LaRose scored just over four minutes
apart. David Tanabe also tallied for the Hurricanes,
who beat the Panthers for the sixth time in their last seven
meetings.
Jozef Stumpel notched a pair of first-period goals for the
Panthers.
