East Rutherford, NJ - North Carolina and Georgetown, the
one and two seeds in the East, have advanced to meet in Sunday's
regional final, a repeat of the national title game 25 years ago when a skinny freshman named Michael Jordan lifted the Tar Heels to the crown 63-62.
The Tar Heels eliminated Southern California, 74-to-64, while the
Hoyas escaped a scare by edging Vanderbilt, 66-to-65. Game time is set for 5:05pm on CBS.
Half of the Final has already been set after Ohio State beat Memphis 92-76 and UCLA dumped Kansas 68-55.
