Tar Heels Run Past Devils in Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill - Tyler Hansbrough scored 26 points
before suffering an ugly injury in the closing seconds of
eighth-ranked North Carolina's 86-to-72 victory over 14th-ranked
Duke.
The win clinched the top seed in the Atlantic Coast Conference
tournament for the Tar Heels.
Senior Reyshawn Terry added 15 points for the Tar Heels (25-6,
11-5), who swept the regular-season series with the Blue Devils for
the first time in 11 years.
Hansbrough's face became bloody after he leaped for a layup with
just over 14 seconds left. After the ball left his hand he was
struck in the face by Gerald Henderson's right elbow.
The officials reviewed the play and ejected Henderson.
Greg Paulus had 21 points before fouling out, and Henderson
finished with 16 for the Blue Devils (22-9, 8-8).
