The Atlantic Coast Conference won in the board room and now its teams are winning on the field.
A month into the season and with its long-term future seemingly secured, the often-ridiculed league is flexing its football muscle among the nation's premier conferences.
No Bowl Subdivision conference has more undefeated teams than the ACC, and the league has four 4-0 teams for the first time in its 60-year history.
It's also the first time in two years that the ACC has put four teams in the Top 25.
For three other ACC teams, their only losses have come to teams in the top 10.
Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson says the ACC is "off to a good start" and hopes "we can finish the thing up as a league."
