ECU Women's Basketball Lands Top Recruit
Williamston junior guard Katie Paschal announced she will attend East Carolina University to play for head coach Sharon Baldwin-Tener.

The East Carolina women's basketball team got an early commitment for the 2010 season as Williamston junior guard Katie Paschal verbally commited to attend ECU and play for head coach Sharon Baldwin-Tener.
Paschal's career statistics at Williamston High School are staggering. She's led the Tigers in scoring three years in a row, averaging over 27 points a game. She has led to the Tigers to a 51-9 record in just over two years including a 27-1 record last season.
Katie is also a very good student with a 4.37 grade point average. Her top five choices were East Carolina, Wake Forest, Memphis, Mississippi State and Princeton but she says ECU was the right fit.
