CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Although officially questionable, the Carolina Panthers hope defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu will play in Sunday night's critical game against the New York Giants.
The winner earns the NFC's No. 1 seed and home-field advantage for the playoffs.
Kemoeatu practiced on a limited basis Friday, but several Panthers indicated earlier in the week they were preparing to play without him.
Starting right guard Keydrick Vincent missed his third straight day of practice with a groin injury and is doubtful. He is the only Carolina offensive lineman yet to miss a game this season due to injury.
Also on the injury report: wide receiver Kenneth Moore is out, defensive end Hilee Taylor is doubtful, defensive tackle Gary Gibson is questionable and Pro Bowl linebacker Jon Beason is probable.

NYDan, you must of and still should feel really stupid after John Kasay was attempting that game winning field goal. Had he of not messed up, kicked it through the uprights, then the Panthers would of won. Celebrate this win and your old Superbowl Championship all you want to until January 18th, after the Carolina Panthers steal one from the Giants then, when it will really count. Mark my words "THERE IS NO WAY IN THE WORLD THAT THE GIANTS ARE GOING TO REPEAT, ALRIGHT!
The Panthers are going to lose this game regardless Go Giants!!
