Panthers Win Thriller Over San Diego, 26-24
Jake Delhomme finds Dante Rosario for the game winning touchdown as time expires.

San Diego, CA - Jake Delhomme threw his first touchdown of the season on the game's final play to defeat the San Diego Chargers 26-24 to open the season. The Chargers had taken the 24-19 lead with a little more than 2 minutes to play before Delhomme rallied the Panthers for the winning drive.
With 2 seconds left to play, Delhomme pumped faked then fired into the endzone to tightend Dante Rosario for the 14 yard winner.
