On Tuesday former East Carolina running back Chris Johnson was alongside 33 other NFL rookies for an Upper Deck photo shoot in Los Angeles but now it's time for Johnson's agent to pound out a deal with the Titans.

Johnson is the final piece of the Titans rookie puzzle not in place before the start of training camp on Friday July 25th. The Titans wrapped up a deal with second round draft pick Jason Jones on Wednesday and will now focus soley on Johnson.

The former Pirate stands to bank a lot of cash. The average guaranteed deal for the 32 first-round picks of last year's draft was $10.86 Million. Johnson was the 24th overall pick in this year's NFL draft and could get near an eight figure guaranteed contract.

Brandon Meriweather was last year's 24th overall pick and signed a five year deal with New England worth $11.6 Million, $6.3 Million of that was guaranteed.

Johnson's contract could be signed as early as Thursday.
