The Greenville All-Stars advanced the second round of the 13-15 Babe Ruth Bseball State Tournament with an easy 10-0 mercy rule victory over ELCIPACA Thursday night at Guy Smith Stadium.

The Greenville squad jumped out to a 7-0 first inning lead and cruised to the victory.

Jesse Wilbourne and Scott Harris combined for the shutout on the mound.

Greenville will face Newport Friday at 6:30pm in the nightcap of the winners bracket.
