Merritt Continues Run For Beijing

Eugene, OR - Former Pirate sprinter LaShawn Merritt continues to make a run for Beijing as he posted the second fastest time in the semi-finals of the 400 meter dash Monday night in the USA Track and Field Trials. Merrit finished second in his heat behind Jeremy Wariner.
