Former Pitt Community College infielder Lonnie Chisenhall picked an opportune time to hit his first home run as a professional.

With the score tied 6-6 in the bottom of the 11th inning, Chisenhall
launched a two run shot over the right field wall to give the Mahoning
Valley Scrappers an 8-6 victory over the Batavia Muckdogs on Saturday.

Chisenhall, the first round draft pick of the Cleveland Indians this year, is batting .209 (9-for-43) in 10 games with the Scrappers. The former Bulldog has a pair of triples and three runs batted in to go along with eight runs scored.

Mahoning Valley is Cleveland’s short-season Class A minor league
affiliate.
