LCC Stays Alive At NJCAA Division II World Series

Lenoir Community College staved off elimination late Wednesday night at the NJCAA Division II World Series in Millington, Tennessee by beating Monroe Community College 5-4.

T.J. Hinson got the victory on the mound. Hinson threw seven and a third solid innings giving up 10 hits, 4 earned runs, 0 walks and 3 strikeouts.

David Combs picked up the save for the Lancers. Combs has pitched in all four games for the Lancers in the World Series.

LCC will face LSU-Eunice Thursday in another elimination game starting at 8:30pm.
