Wings Headed To Stanley Cup Finals

The Detroit Red Wings are back in familiar territory.

The Wings have advanced to the Stanley Cup finals by grabbing a
4-0 lead in the first 24 minutes of a 4-1 win over Dallas in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals. Kris Draper opened the scoring just 3:45 into the game before Pavel Datsyuk added a power-play goal 8 minutes later. Henrik Zetterberg's short-handed tally made it 4-0 early in the second period.

Dallas Drake had a goal and an assist for the Red Wings, who are in the finals for the fourth time since 1997. Detroit has won its previous three trips to the finals.

Chris Osgood handled 25 shots and was perfect until Stephane
Robidas scored a power-play goal early in the final stanza.

The Red Wings will host the first two games of the finals.
