3rd Annual Run For The Warriors Set For May 17th

Hope For The Warriors has announced that the 3rd Annual Run For The Warriors will take place aboard Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C., on May 17, 2008.

The money raised from the Run For The Warriors will support Hope For The Warriors' Programs established to meet the needs of service members who have been wounded in the War on Terrorism and their families, as well as the families of the fallen.

The Run For The Warriors is a unique event dedicated to the men and women wounded in the global war on terror and their families. It is a celebration of their strength and resolve as well as the Welcome Home they never received. By uniting the entire community, military and civilian alike, this event embraces Wounded Warriors and their families in the shared belief that there is hope beyond recovery. Racing venues are offered in a 10k, 5K and 1 mile run. This is a chip times race. For more information about timing and chips, please see the raceFAQs.
