Watching The Heels

They won't be playing in Chapel Hill, but North Carolina fans can watch the Tar Heels from their home court Saturday.

The Dean E. Smith Center will be open when the Tar Heels play Kansas on Saturday night in the NCAA semifinals in San Antonio. Fans can watch the team on a 15x20-foot screen in the center, where 15,000 seats will be open.

UNC students, faculty and staff with university identification will be admitted at 5 p.m. Saturday. Doors will open to everyone else at 5:30 p.m.

If the Tar Heels advance to Monday's championship game, the center will open at 8 p.m. to students, faculty and staff with university identification and to everyone else at 8:30 p.m.
