Pirates Bounced Out Of C-USA Tournament

The East Carolina men's basketball team ended the season with a 66-49 loss to Tulsa in the first round of the Conference USA Tournament.

7'1" Tulsa center Jerome Jordan led the way in scoring with 18 points. He also pulled down 14 rebounds and blocked eight ECU shots in just 28 minutes of play.

The Pirates (11-9, 5-12 C-USA) end the season with two consecutive loses after a three game winning streak.

ECU shot just 28 percent from the field. Senior guard Cory Farmer led the Pirates in scoring with 15 points while Gabe Blair added 10 points.
