UNC Back On Top In AP Top 25

North Carolina is back on top of the weekly
Associated Press men's college basketball poll. The Tar Heels, who
were on top of the pre-season poll and then hung on for ten weeks,
replace Tennessee. The Heels, who are 27-and-2, jump up from the
number-three spot in last week's poll.
Memphis, the number-two team in last week's poll, remains in
that spot with UCLA third, Tennessee fourth and Kansas fifth.
The second five this week features Duke, Stanford, Xavier, Texas
and Wisconsin.
This week's second team consists of Georgetown, Louisville,
Connecticut, Butler, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, Indiana,
Notre Dame and Drake.
The bottom five are Marquette, Gonzaga, Washington State,
Clemson and new to the top-25 Davidson. The Wildcats are riding a
19-game winning streak.
